Today marks a special day in America—our independence.
Despite the deep divisions that plague our union 246 years after its creation, the American values of individualism, opportunity, and progress are still present.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
America is not a finished product.
We are constantly changing, growing, and struggling.
This change can be painful, but we must persevere in the struggle to create the nation we deserve—one of love, acceptance, and unity.
Moments of despair are valid—but our nation is worth fighting for.
When we work together we can change communities, we can help our neighbors, and we can leave Texas better than we found it.
Happy Independence Day.

Happy Father’s Day to my amazing dad!
My Dad taught me the importance of working for something bigger than myself and through his actions showed me what true dedication to one’s community looks like. I don’t think he will ever stop working to make his community a better place for everyone.
I am so grateful to have been raised by such a kind, loving, and caring man. Love you, dad!

Had a great time at Leander’s Juneteenth celebration.
It was great to see so many neighbors coming together to celebrate this important holiday.
As Stacey Rhone stated, “Today let's celebrate. Tomorrow let’s work together with all Americans to build a free and equitable society”
Happy Juneteenth, yall!
